KnobSmith Audio started with a simple frustration: too many plugins that were either over-engineered or under-delivered. Complex interfaces hiding mediocre DSP, or great algorithms buried under terrible UX.

We set out to build plugins that feel good to use. Tools where every parameter matters, every knob has a musical purpose, and the technical excellence happens behind the scenes—not in your face.

Our approach is simple: quality over quantity. Each plugin goes through rigorous testing—not just for stability, but for audio quality. We measure DC offset, aliasing, CPU usage, and parameter smoothing. We test in multiple DAWs at multiple sample rates. Only then does a plugin earn the KnobSmith name.
