Overview

We are looking for an audio engineer who cares about how plugins sound and feel. You will help tune our processing, build repeatable listening workflows, and keep quality high as the product grows.

Mission fit

You care about musical outcomes, real-time safety, and the details that make a mix session feel effortless. You can translate what you hear into clear, actionable notes for the DSP and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Run structured listening tests across genres, monitoring chains, and DAWs
  • Build and maintain reference sessions for repeatable QA
  • Stress-test presets, automation, and edge cases to catch regressions early
  • Collaborate on target sound, tone, and UX feedback loops
  • Document findings with clear, specific reproduction steps

Requirements

  • 3+ years of audio engineering or sound design experience
  • Strong critical listening skills and an ear for artifacts
  • Comfortable evaluating latency, aliasing, and phase behavior
  • Clear written communication and a systematic approach to QA

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with pluginval or automated audio testing
  • Familiarity with DSP concepts or C++-based plugins
  • Experience shipping audio software or presets

What you'll get

  • Direct influence on the sonic identity of our products
  • A small team that prioritizes quality and musical outcomes
  • Space to design test workflows that actually improve the product
